Lakers, Davis look to keep rolling as Hawks visit

After just 12 games with Anthony Davis in the fold, the Los Angeles Lakers are finding out that even when their star forward is not at his best, he still can make a giant impact on games. Davis and the Lakers head into a home game against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday coming off a 99-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings. Part of the reason the Lakers' Pacific Division duel with Sacramento was closer than expected was that Davis struggled offensively for one of the few times since he has been in a Lakers uniform.

George’s 37 in home debut lead Clippers past Hawks 150-101

Paul George made history in his Clippers home debut even though he considered it mere practice after missing the first 11 games of the season. George scored 37 points in 20 minutes, becoming the first NBA player to score that many in fewer than 21 minutes, and Los Angeles led all the way in routing the Atlanta Hawks 150-101 on Saturday night. ''He knows I had him on a time limit, so he's trying to get it all in,'' Clippers coach Doc Rivers said.
